THE PRODUCTS YOU NEED AT THE PUSH OF A BUTTON

Imagine this: you wake up at 2 a.m. from the hysterical crying of your 2 year old child. You rush into their room thinking that something has gone terribly wrong. When you pick your child up, you notice a faint smell and feel something wet on your arm as your hold them. You turn on the light, and realize that your precious child has left you a gift through her diaper and pj’s, that is now smeared down your arms. As you reach into the drawer to grab the clean-up supplies, your biggest fear is realized: you are officially out of diapers. So, who gets blamed for forgetting to place the diaper order on Amazon? We will let you guys argue who’s at fault.

Well… I have some good news for us scatter-brained parents who forget to place the refill order on Amazon when our significant other asks us to. Today, Amazon announced the Amazon Dash Button. Here’s how it works:

This button looks amazing, right? There are a number of products Amazon has listed in which you can set up to order using the Dash Button. Some of these include cleaning products, diapers, bathroom essentials, and a number of items you would find in your pantry.

Sadly, only a select few will be able to try the Dash Button out, and Amazon is offering it for a limited time only. In order to qualify for the Dash Button, you will need to be a current Amazon Prime member and must live in the 50 United States. If selected, Amazon will send you an invitation via email to order up to three Dash Buttons. For those interested, you can click here to request an invitation.

This is a great concept, and I believe it will save time when ordering Amazon products you constantly buy. For those who do not take advantage of the Subscribe & Save feature, this is a great alternative. Now, instead of guessing how often you need a product, you can simply press a button and your order will be sent. If this “pilot” is successful, I am sure you will see Amazon offer this great feature to the masses. Let’s cross our fingers for the sake of all of us parents in the world.
